21st, to Phuket!

Shortly after our trip to Bangkok we headed off to Phuket,

Celebrating my 21st there! It was certainly a memorable one.

Arrival at Holiday Inn Express Patong!

Rooms were clean and comfortable, staffs friendly, pool was nice and it was conveniently located just at Patong beach. Value for money!

At Patong beach. Kinda disappointed. It was nothing compared to White beach in Boracay :/

Nutella banana crepe, bought it at 100bhat and realised we got cheated as there were cheaper ones down :(

Day 2 breakfast buffet included!

Went off for our Phang Nga Bay tour on a big boat (Wanted speedboat but it was full as we booked last min; the night before)

Managed to get a deal at 1000bhat (about SGD$40) each for this day tour. Do rmbr to try and bargain as much as possible, who knows you may be in luck!

((Includes Hong island, Bat cave & James Bond Island. Buffet lunch is included too but it was so hard to eat on board))

Overall the day tour was kinda nice if its your first time in Phuket, but not as fun as I'd imagine! Would prefer to have gone with the speedboat as the big boat can be kind of scary sometimes (due to the heavy rain). Also, we couldn't go for a swim.

At night, we drove to Fantasea, as it apparently is one of the top few attractions in Phuket! Was kinda costly for us as we booked the gold seats right at the counter.

((Secretly took this photo)) Wasn't much to see around Fantasea, was expecting more given the price. But the show was great!

At Paradise Beach, it was a private beach so we paid 100bhat for entry.

Rented snorkelling gears but apparently the water was so cloudy we couldn't get to see anything and gave up. Was told the coral reefs were further out but we didn't manage to get out that far.
