Hello Seattle! - October 2017
Hi readers!
During the Columbus Day weekend we escaped to Seattle for our really short getaway 😙 ... So this is the itinerary for our Seattle trip 🌁 :
Day 1:
- Outlet Collection (near from Airport - but can be missed)
- Snoqualmie Falls (was amazing)
- Late lunch @ Kizuki ramen & izakaya
- Check-in our Airbnb
- Kerry park Viewpoint
- Explored Seattle Waterfront (really pretty at night)
Day 2:
- Started our day at Pike Place Market
- Beneath the Streets Tour
- Fremont Troll / Fremont Sunday Market (awesome food there)
- Theo Chocolate Factory (we didn't do the tour just went to grab some tasty chocolates 😁🍫)
- Seattle Premium Outlets (SOOO much better than the other one)
- Hamilton viewpoint
Day 3:
- Breakfast at Dim Sum King (in Chinatown)
- Strolled around Uwajimaya (only this store is open early morning)
- Headed to the Airport to catch our flight back at 12pm 😞
Food places I can remember having:
- Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (so yummy 🍜🍜🍜)
- Ivar's Fish bar @ Seattle waterfront (yums 🐟🐟)
- Lowell's restaurant @ Pike place market
- Fremont Sunday Market (lots of stalls there)
- Un Bien (really yummy sandwiches we didn't get to take a photo- was too hungry!)
- Dim Sum King @ Chinatown (food was good)
It was pretty cold and rainy in Seattle during this period, so do pack your waterproof hoodies/coats + thicker jackets if you are planning to go in Autumn 🌂🍂🍁
Upon arrival at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Seatac), we hopped onto the free shuttle bus to get to our car rental.
First lunch at 13 coins (food was so-so)
The Outlet collection (can be missed, nothing much there, would recommend going to Seattle Premium Outlet instead; though its further but there are much more shops there!)
Snoqualmine Falls (check more details here)

Such pretty falls, plus it's one of the easiest to get to so far (no hiking 🙊)

Kizuki Ramen (there are quite a few locations)
So yummmmmmm
Checking into our Airbnb at Morgan St (10mins away from Downtown)
Kerry park viewpoint
Very interesting curiosity shop @ Seattle waterfront
yummy 🐟🐟🐟
Supper?!
Morning at Pike Place Market
Thought this was the first starbucks but it isn't haha.. Took pics anyway
Trying out crumpet 👅
First Starbucks- we didn't queue for it guessed it tastes the same as any other Starbucks store
Best pic we could get cause it was really crowded!
Headed for our Beneath the Streets tour :
(Gotten our tickets online)
It was pretty informative and interesting to learn about Seattle (but could be skipped if you don't have the time)
Came across this pretty brick building so we posed for a pic 👀
Omg this is so yum
This too... Real awesome swiss cheese
Theo's chocolate - super yummy!
(we didn't go for the chocolate factory tour but you could find out more about it here)
Random park that we came across while driving!
The Trees were soooo pretty 💘💘💘
After some outlet shopping we stopped by this viewpoint, the view was awesome but we headed back after awhile as it was sooo chilly 🙊
Next day we headed for the airport early for our flight back..
Till then,,,
...Seattle 💖
